GlimsePlatform Terms of Use

Welcome to GlimsePlatform. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website at glimseplatform.com and all related services. "We", "us" and "our" refer to GlimsePlatform. "You" refers to any user of the platform.

I. About the Service

GlimsePlatform is a digital identity and discovery platform that allows users to:

• Publish a public profile containing personal, business or organisation information
• Search for people, businesses, services and products
• Discover profiles from nearby locations using GPS
• Link social media accounts, online stores and community groups
• Send direct messages to other users
• View AI-generated profile summaries and crawled social media content

II. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GlimsePlatform. By using the service you confirm you meet this age requirement. Users in the European Union must be at least 16 years old in accordance with GDPR.

III. Account Registration

To use the full features of GlimsePlatform you must create an account. You will receive a unique Digital ID which is your login key. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your Digital ID secure and private
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at chris@glimseplatform.com

IV. Published Content Rules

When you publish a profile or any content on GlimsePlatform, you agree that:

• All information you publish is accurate and truthful
• You are publishing your own identity or a business/organisation you legitimately represent
• You will not impersonate any real person, celebrity, public figure or brand
• You will not publish content that is false, misleading, defamatory or offensive
• You will not post content that violates any copyright, trademark or intellectual property right
• You will not publish adult content, hate speech, or content promoting violence
• You will not use the platform for spam, fraud or scam activities

V. Search Credits

Searching on GlimsePlatform requires search credits. Credits are purchased through PayPal or Stripe. Payments are processed securely by our payment partners. Credits are non-refundable once used. If you experience a payment issue please contact chris@glimseplatform.com.

VI. GPS Location

GlimsePlatform may request access to your device's GPS location to improve search results and show nearby profiles. Location access is optional but recommended. We store only your city name — never your exact coordinates. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

VII. Social Media Crawling

When you publish a profile with social media handles, our automated spider may visit those public social media pages to collect publicly available information such as profile photos, follower counts and content. This is done to enrich your profile in search results. We only access publicly visible information.

VIII. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you publish. By publishing on GlimsePlatform you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and distribute your content on our platform for the purpose of making it searchable. GlimsePlatform's name, logo and interface design are our intellectual property and may not be copied or used without written permission.

IX. Prohibited Uses

• Automated scraping or crawling of GlimsePlatform's search results
• Using search results to build competing databases or services
• Harassing, threatening or abusing other users via messages
• Attempting to access other users' accounts
• Interfering with the platform's security or infrastructure
• Publishing children's personal information
• Using the platform for any illegal activity

X. Moderation and Account Termination

We reserve the right to remove any content or profile that violates these terms at our sole discretion. Users who receive multiple valid reports may have their account suspended or terminated. When a profile is removed, the account owner is notified via an in-app message explaining the reason.

XI. Disclaimer of Warranties

GlimsePlatform is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-published information or crawled content. We are not responsible for the actions of other users on the platform.

XII. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlimsePlatform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits or reputational damage.

XIII. Third-Party Links

Profiles on GlimsePlatform may contain links to third-party websites including social media platforms and online stores. We are not responsible for the content, security or practices of any third-party websites.

XIV. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app message. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
